"Precious in the sight of the
Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116.15
Dr. C.V. Baby
Sadly for us, but happily for C. V. Baby, the Lord
saw fit to call another one of His dear ones home. Our brother, C. V.
Baby, was called into the Lord’s presence Monday evening, February 19th,
2007, at the age of 80. He had been undergoing treatments for Heart &
Kidney Problems. Babychayans' deep desire was to depart this life for he
knew "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." After
many weeks of waiting for the Savior to call him to himself, his desire
was finally granted. His final departure from here and entrance into
glory was quick and painless.
C. V Baby Was born and bought up in Chiramukath family, Koipuram, Kerala
India. He was actively engaged in radio broadcasting ministry, during
his 20 years of employment with the Government of India, at Bombay. Br.
Baby has studied for 10 years leading to a Doctorate in Theology from
U.S.A . He taught Theology in North India Bible Institute and Bengal
Bible Institute. He has been actively involved in evangelism, church
planting, teaching and preaching ministry, over 2 decades.
Babychayan and Ammamam were faithful to the assembly, for many years
traveling a long distance from their home to various part of the world
for assembly meetings, and could be found attending conferences in the
summer.
Their family traveled from United States to Agra, India in the late
70's. Reflecting on this, one cannot help but think of the enormous
changes that have taken place during Babychayan’s lifetime. However, for
all the advancements and improvements that man has made, we know that
nothing can compare with being taken away from this scene and being
brought into the presence of the Lord.
Babychayan is in His presence, where there is fulness of joy. However,
he will be missed by those who saw the Lord Jesus in his life while he
was here. Our brother was faithful in his testimony for the Lord through
to the last moments of his life. He has left a mark on many and he will
be remembered and missed by his family, the saints of the assembly and
many friends. Please pray that the family would be comforted and that as
we remember his life, his Savior may be lifted up for all to see,
bringing many more to the salvation of their souls.
As I think of the verse above, I see the Lord's diligent and loving care
for one consummating in His lovingly gathering him to Himself. When here
the Lord "loved us unto the end", until all was finished. Having thus
purchased us, He considers it precious to receive us. Thank you, Lord!
We safely and confidently repose in the knowledge that as for God His
way is perfect. And He made known His ways to Moses and His acts to the
children of Israel (Psalm 103:7). We can rely with confidence on the
wisdom of our great God and Father, that He does all things well.
Please continue to remember his dear family in your prayers, as well as
the saints in, especially those in Agra, where our brother will be
sorely missed.
